The grants are available for a number of real estate related reasons. Some of those reasons include rehab in neighborhoods that are to be upgraded, senior citizen based projects, and historic places rehabilitation grants. There are also a number of loans that can be attained, some of which have very low interest rates or don’t need to be paid back if you meet all of the qualifications.

With the current economic climate, there have been some interesting new grants and avenues for buying property and rehabbing it. In light of the foreclosure numbers today, and with more on the way in the near future, look for grants to buy foreclosure homes. Do a good search and you will unearth all kinds of ways to use government money to help you start your business.

Small business has always had grants available through not only the government but private enterprise as well.
